Schacht & Associates specializes in bringing the thoughts and talents of chefs and pastry chefs to the written page. Clients include chef, restaurateur and television personality Michael Chiarello and his company, NapaStyle; award-wining pastry chef and instructor Mary Cech; and Napa-based "wedding cake baker to the stars" Sam Godfrey of Perfect Endings, featured in an article in the San Francisco Chronicle Sunday Magazine. We also develop press kits and other communications materials for chefs and restaurateurs. Jennie Schacht has authored and edited articles, recipes and cookbook reviews that have appeared in local, national, and international publications, including Bay Food, Veggie Life, The Family Next Door, Sally's Place, Tavolo, NapaStyle, eOutdoors and Appellation. Jennie is co-author of The Wine Lover's Dessert Cookbook: Recipes and Pairings for the Perfect Glass of Wine (Chronicle Books, 2005) and is currently working with Joey Altman on Without Reservations: Cooking at Home with Joey Altman (John Wiley & Sons). Look for it in Spring 2008. Schacht & Associates also consults to food and hunger organizations, helping them to design and develop programs, get them funded, and evaluate their impact.
